Reference · not a shop

Who builds what, and what can actually be verified.

This site keeps one thing: a record of what is publicly known about the replica watch trade: which factories exist, which are gone, what buyers get told, and which claims nobody has evidence for.

Factory profiles What the words mean

repdb.io is a reference site about the replica watch trade, written for buyers who arrive with a brand and a reference number. It records which factories are publicly reported to build what, reproduces the third-party tests that exist, and marks everything nobody has measured as unverified.

Factory profiles

What each workshop was or is known for, whether it is still producing, and which names get confused with which. Where a claim has no public source, the page says so instead of filling the gap.

Per brand: which factories are actually reported to build it, and the third-party tests that exist. Scores on these pages belong to whoever ran the test, not to us.

Sellers

Seller records

One dated record per domain observed selling in this trade: seven checkable dimensions, four states, the evidence under each, an evidence grade that counts completeness only, and the seller's right of reply on the same page. No total score, no ranking, and nothing for sale.

What will this site not do?

These are the constraints this site holds itself to on every page. They bind the operator's own commercial interests as much as anyone else's, and they are why a page here can be read without knowing who wrote it.

  • No ratings of our own. We reproduce other people's tests with a link to the original and the caveats they attached — never a score we invented.
  • No recommendations. No "best", no "trusted", no shortlist. Pages state facts; the decision is the reader's.
  • No paid placement. A listing's status cannot be bought, and any commercial interest the operator holds is disclosed in the same place as everyone else's.
  • No filling in blanks. When something is not publicly documented — steel grade, case thickness, ownership — the page says "not verified" and stops there.

Published so far

All 32 factory profiles, grouped by what is recorded about each label's current state, from most settled to least. Inside a group the order is alphabetical and carries no meaning: a status is a fact about the label, not a judgement about it.
